Zámek v Pogrzebieni může být již jen jako samostatný objekt atraktivním turistickým cílem hned z několika důvodů. Tento zámek byl dávným sídlem rodiny von Baildon, z níž Artur (syn ve Slezsku známého průmyslníka Johna Baildona, který pocházel ze staré skotské šlechty) tento objekt zakoupil v roce 1882 pro svého jediného syna Aleksandra. Palác byl v letech 1885 – 1887 od základů rekonstruován v italském renesančním stylu a byl vybaven cennými mramorovými schody. Tato modernizace vtiskla stavbě vlastnosti zámku. V roce 1930 získal zámek řád Salesiánů. Zřídil zde duchovní seminář, který existoval až do roku 1940. Samostatnou historií tohoto zámku tvoří léta 2. světové války.
V období německé okupace byl v zámku na krátkou dobu vytvořen prozatímní tábor pro německé reemigranty z Besarábie a německé Bukoviny. Tábor byl později určen pro polské občany a nesl název „Polenlager 82”, poté se stal táborem pro děti „Kinderlager”. Na místním hřbitově v Pogrzebieni byl v roce 1958 postaven náhrobek s památeční tabulí připomínající oběti „Polenlagru 82”. Tento náhrobek byl v roce 2002 přestavěn do dnešní podoby obelisku. U silnice do zámku pak byl v roce 1974 postaven Pomník památce polských dětí, které zahynuly ve zdejším táboře. V roce 1946 získala pogrzebieńský zámek kongregace Dcer Panny Marie Pomocnice, která ho spravuje dodnes. Dalším zajímavým příběhem spojeným s historií zámku jsou vztahy německého romantického básníka Jozefa von Eichendorffa s rodinou Larischů. Dcera Larischů Luiza probudila vážný zájem německého básníka a v roce 1815 se stala jeho ženou. V zámeckém parku rostou stromy, které zcela jistě pamatují období námluv mladého páru.
