Má obvod 460 cm a s kamenem zarostlým ve kmeni je vysoký 4 metry. Najdeme jej 600 metrů na západ od hájenky v Życińském lese. Podle místního vyprávění dub zapálili sovětští vojáci, kteří tím způsobem chtěli ukázat svou nenávist vůči obyvatelům Horního Slezska, na které nahlíželi jako na sympatizující s fašisty, protože muži z této oblasti museli rukovat do Wehrmachtu. Dub požár přežil a žije dodnes. Podle legendy předávané z generace na generaci se dub znovu probudil k životu stejně, jako se v Izraeli znovu probudila k životu víra ve skutečného Boha. Dub je pojmenován po proroku Eliášovi. Obyvatelé jej také nazývají „dubem s okem” s ohledem na kámen, který se v něm nachází a který srostl s tkání stromu a vytváří tak jeho charakteristické místo. Strom je místem setkávání, cílem procházek, zastávkou pro cyklisty a spřežení se saněmi.
